Mac pools and Lambda solve different Remotion shapes.

Lambda fan-out can win when massive parallelism dominates. A Mac pool can win when macOS-native execution, VideoToolbox adjacency, or fewer cold-start surprises matter. We measured Mac vs small cloud containers; we have not published a same-composition Lambda bakeoff yet.

Do not overclaim: Until /benchmarks/remotion-vs-lambda exists with real AWS evidence, treat Lambda comparisons as architectural guidance, not a finished bakeoff.
