FAQ · Studio vs Air
Do you need a Mac Studio for Remotion?
Not for the Remotion class in our 2026-07-22 fleet bakeoff. M1 Airs completed HeavyMotion within about 25–30% of M2 Max and finished a 3-minute kinetic in under 2.5 minutes of wall-clock.

Studio/Max still help for interactive speed and denser fleets. They are not a prerequisite for every idle host.
