Burn subtitles into video with an API.

“Add subtitles with FFmpeg” CLI posts dominate search. SaaS products need a bounded caption-burn job: trusted video URL + subtitle URL → hard-burned MP4 with webhooks. That is ffmpeg.caption_burn.v1.

Caption burn-in is a product stage — keep moderation and SRT generation in your app; RenderMac executes the burn.
  1. Generate or store SRT/ASS in your system.
  2. Optionally stitch first.
  3. Estimate/create ffmpeg.caption_burn.v1.
  4. Verify bytes before publish.
