FAQ

What is an FFmpeg API?

An FFmpeg API lets your product request named media operations — stitch, transcode, caption burn-in, audio mix — without shipping arbitrary FFmpeg CLI to an untrusted worker.

RenderMac’s FFmpeg-shaped services are typed contracts on Apple Silicon capacity. Start at FFmpeg API, then deep-dive stitch, transcode, captions, and audio mix.

Not a shell: if a vendor offers unrestricted FFmpeg flags on multi-tenant hosts, treat that as a different (riskier) product category.
